Meet Our Pastor & Founder

Reverend Trevor L. Rankine is the visionary of World Harvest Deliverance Center Inc. a ministry which he established in October 1994 in Queens, New York. He was born in Westmoreland, Jamaica. At the age of 13, he gave his life to Jesus. As a young man, he felt the call of God upon his life. With the love, support, and guidance of his beloved mother Harriett Elfreda Rankine, the influence of his elder sister Daphne, and a strong Christian upbringing, the foundation was laid for a great leader.
 
Reverend Rankine has devoted his life to preaching the undiluted Word of God, and to making a difference in the lives of his fellow men. He married Yvonne, the love of his life, the daughter of a pastor, on December 20, 1980. Together they joined forces and embarked on a mission to reach the lost with the gospel of Jesus Christ. They have a son, Howard, and a daughter, Ivana.
 
Reverend Rankine was ordained and served as pastor in the Deliverance Evangelistic Association in Jamaica, West Indies, and was the pastor of Triumphant Deliverance Centre in Mt. Carey, for eight years. There he established Triumphant Basic School, a renowned educational institution from which many students have graduated and gone on to lead productive lives.
 
Prior to immigrating to the United States, He attended Christ for the Nations Bible School. Reverend Rankine continued his ministerial training at Eastern Bible College in New Jersey, and later at Bethel Bible College in Jamaica, New York. Reverend Rankine continues to impact the lives of many, sharing the love of Jesus Christ with all those he meets. To many, he is the epitome of a leader, father, brother, teacher, and friend. His love for people fuels his passion for service and commitment to bringing hope to the lost within his community. He is a gifted musician and continues to make a tremendous impact by imparting his musical skills to children and youths, teaching them to play various musical instruments.
 
Under his leadership, World Harvest Deliverance Center Inc. founded WHDC Christian Academy which offers a full elementary education and has been educating students since 2009, from Pre-Kindergarten to Eighth Grade. Reverend Rankine continues to serve selflessly, fulfilling God's call on his life.
